The Compass Journey is a Life-Coaching programme.
When I was young I flew light aircraft, Cessna's and Piper Tomohawks. One day, as I was doing pre-flight checks I was given clearance for take-off. In order not to miss the slot, I foolishly skipped some of the tests. It nearly cost me dearly as I made a dreadful mistake. I had not aligned the compass and it was quite a bit off. I ended up getting lost and only found my way back to the landing strip with just enough fuel to spare. It was a lesson learnt, align your compass, take the time to assess everything is in order before you take off.
For centuries the compass has been used to enable people on a journey to know the route they have taken, their present destination and the direction they need to go in order for them to arrive at their desired destination. In the same way the Compass Journey has been carefully designed to enable people to assess their lives in its entirety. The journey is an opportunity for you to examine the story of your life so far and to understand the many pieces of the past that still affect you in the present. You will understand the necessity of being authentic to yourself and realise you do not have to live in the mould others have created for you. Your whole attitude to life will begin to change for the better as your confidence in yourself increases, your motivation is inspired and you discover the initial action you need to take to really enjoy the present whilst building the future you actually want rather than just drifting from day to day.
Many people walk through life never really taking the time to seek to understand the world around them and their place in it. As a Homo Sapiens (the thinking species) we have the ability to reach a level of self awareness and understanding of ourselves that is unique among life in this world. In order to maximise this wonderful experience we call life, we need to understand what motivates and drives us as an individual. The Compass Journey will help you do just that.
The Journey is a time for self honesty, reflection and action in a safe and comfortable environment with a trained, trusted and suitably qualified mentor.
